Canon: Fate: Grand Order
Canon Point: Temple of Time Singularity, before the activation of Ars Nova

Background: Romani Archaman wasn’t born Romani. He’s really King Solomon, the heroic spirit. (Yes, the biblical King Solomon). But, his story in Grand Order starts when he’s summoned by one Marisbury Animusphere to participate in “Singularity X” aka the 2004 Holy Grail War in Fuyuki. He and his Master were victorious, which provided him with one Wish. And that wish was to become human.

And Romani Archaman was born. Roman lost his clairvoyance that he had as Solomon, but as he did, he had a vision of the end of humanity in the future… and realized he had to do something about it. This set him on his path that led to becoming part of the Chaldea staff, becoming the head of the medical division when he was 22.

He was assigned Mash Kyrielight’s physician a few years later and learned of the Demi-Servant experiment success when Marisbury had successfully summoned Galahad into her body. He used his position to get Mash on staff and convince her to become a candidate to be a Master, which leads to her being part of the Grand Order.

His job on Chaldea starts as making sure the Masters stay in good health. He meets Ritsuka Fujimaru because he was kicked out of the control room by the director at the time, Olga Marie, and was hiding in Ritsuka’s room. He ends up talking to Ritusuka long enough to keep them both from being caught in the explosion created by Lev Lainur, which injured the majority of the Masters.

Olga Marie is killed in the first Singularity, and Roman becomes the head of Chaldea, and assists Ritsuka and their servants from Chaldea when they’re Rayshifted into the singularities.

This continues until Ritsuka reaches the Time Temple, where they’re going to face Solomon, the man behind the extinction of humanity. When they’re facing Goetia at the Temple, he reveals that he’s the real Solomon, King of Magic, and that he spent his time as a human to attempt to stop Goetia, who was a part of him when he was alive originally (biblical times). He uses the tenth ring of Solomon to activate Ars Nova, which destroys him and removes him from the Throne of Heroes, causing him to die and leave Chaldea for good. But, this weakens Goetia so Ritsuka can defeat him, reinstating humanity.


Personality: Even though Roman is Roman, at his core, he’s the realist and slight pessimist that Solomon was. He covers it up a lot by joking around and being a bit of a ‘flake’. He focuses on goofy things and makes goofy comments that he probably shouldn’t during stressful times. He doesn’t want to see sad things, and can get along with anyone.

He sometimes will get end up sticking to a middle ground and not wanting to make any decisions, until someone makes a comment about it. Then his inner Solomon comes out, and he can make a judgment call like Solomon once did.

Even though he’s only Mash’s personal physician, he’s somewhat of a father figure. He was the one who raised her, really. He also shows fatherly like tendencies towards Ritsuka during the events of Grand Order.

Abilities: Romani Archaman is a medical doctor, but doesn’t have any magical abilities. That’s only as Solomon, which is a form he won’t take. His final one is Ars Nova, but that would cause his death as both Roman and Solomon. So it’s a last resort.

Alignment: Aiada – When Roman was a servant (Solomon), he envied the freedom that humans had. After becoming a human after the Grail War, he knows and can appreciate that freedom on his own, having now experienced it. (plus maybe more envy of the servants, since he can’t use his magic anymore.)

Other: Even though he was a Heroic Spirit, as Romani, he can't use any of his powers or abilities, unless he reverts back to being Solomon. Which, he won't do, honestly.
